Callen MFG Cap Grenade No.1

Here’s my finished Pop-Realism drawing of a Vintage Callen MFG. CORP. Cap Grenade. I drew this in graphite and colored pencil and the finished size is 18” W x 36” T on paper and had a bunch of friends vote on drawing this next of the HotWheels Antifreeze- Colored Shilouette.  The cap grenade won out.

Looking back, as kids, it seemed like everyone had at least one of these… until you threw it at you Mom’s feet. or the dog’s, and then Dad would take ’em away.
