1970’s Vintage Squirt Gun

1970’s Vintage Squirt Gun

by Mike Pitzer, 2022

I remember playing in the basement of my Grandma and Grandpa Carter’s house in Royal Oak, Michigan when we were kids. One of the things they had in the basement was a play box, filled with odds and ends for all of the grandkids to play with, like these cool squirt guns. I remember we once put Grandma’s perfume in them. The basement never smelled so good. The squirt guns disappeared after that.

As a note, the first gallery show this drawing was judged into the 2022, 97th Annual Juried Exhibition in association with the Pasadena Society of Artists. I’m very happy to say that my 1970’s Vintage Squirt Gun won an Award of Merit, one of three given out.
